Departing from the parking lot Chemin du vieux pont in Plougastel Daoulas, take the Albert Louppe bridge, for pedestrians and cyclists only. Continuing on, you will arrive at the edge of the Bois de Sapins and Bois des Sables Rouges, passing in front of the former Maisons de Péage, which have been rehabilitated as a cultural place with social dynamics.

Continue to the Moulin Blanc beach, biking along to the marina, you will pass in front of Océanopolis, an ocean discovery park. Going back to the path along the waterfront, you can see the “Memories” statue dedicated to the victims of all forms of slavery on Petrels street. Then take the road to the National Botanical Conservatory Garden. It is unfortunately forbidden to ride your bike inside the Garden, so you will have to leave it at the entrance.

Itinerary 2: Les Capucins - Marina du Château

Departing from the Capucins towards the Jardin des Explorateurs, enjoy the remarkable panorama you have of the city with the Castle of Brest, the Marina below, and the harbor.

Make your way rue de la Pointe by the south gate of the garden then go towards the Recouvrance bridge. Continue straight ahead and go up to avenue Georges Clemenceau where the Tourist Office is located. You may make several stops in this street, the nerve center of Brest shopping, among others of course. And pay attention to the streetcars that come and go.

Biking along the Kennedy Garden, go down the avenue Salaün Penquer where you have a beautiful view of the harbor, then turn right onto the rue de Denver all the way to the Cours Dajot. You will find yourself in front of the Château where you can go back down to the Chain Park by the access ramp to the harbor, then continue straight ahead in the direction of Port du Château. Then turn right on the Tabarly quay and you will arrive between the commercial and military harbours, to the Marina du Château.
