Earlier this year, Utrecht laid out the plans to set up a tender for micro-mobility services in their city. This was created to clean up the city of services which they did not think added value to the city.

We are happy to announce that we won licenses to operate 600 pedal bikes for 3 years in the city. This is exciting news because this means we have proven ourselves through our services in the city in the past 2 years and continue to be part of the best bicycle city in the world.

As we pride ourselves on working together with the city to make our bike-share service as accessible and sustainable as possible for the city and its citizens, we are humbled that the city understands this and decided to award us so many licenses.

Being part of the world’s best bicycle cities just makes sense because of the effort they put into their bike infrastructure and campaigns to get as many people as possible on bikes.

Worlds’ Largest Bicycle Park

A few years ago Utrecht built the world’s largest bicycle park which helps connect different parts of the city together via a bike highway.  “Our integrated, comfortable bicycle parking is the answer to a major problem in the inner cities of our urban communities worldwide: pollution and logistic indigestion,” explained the Rotterdam architecture studio, who developed the park.

Throughout our work in Utrecht we have set up corporate collaborations with 3 business parks and individual companies, to make it easier for employees to leave cars at home and be active & green.

We hope that one day we will be in all cities and of course the top 10 bike cities which you can find below:

  1. Utrecht, Netherlands
  2. Munster, Germany
  3. Antwerp, Belgium
  4. Copenhagen, Denmark

  8. Bern, Switzerland
  9. Bremen, Germany
  10. Hannover, German
